This is a branch of Gandhi Hindustani Sahita Sabha and it holds the following activities :–
Creche – In the Villages of Nandurbar Dist. in Maharashtra 16 creches for little children whose mothers are field workers were started is 1990.
Sewing Centre – Acharya Kakasaheb Kalelkar Kendra, Nandurbar, Maharashtra is running a cutting and sewing classes very successfully.
Children’s Library – National unity requires that we learn each other’s language. For this purpose the institution started a centre of teaching different languages as, Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, Punjabi, English etc.
Spinning Classes and Khadi Centre – At our centre at Nandurbar in Maharashtra spinning classes and khadi section is working very well.
Kalelkar Computer Centre – In this Center students are taking training in Basic Knowledge of Computer and DTP, Accounts and Internet etc.
Recently in February, 2012 Sh. Ramanbhai Shah has donated land of one acre for permanent construction of Acharya Kaka Kalelkar Lokseva Kendra Buildings. There the centre is planning to spread Kaka Saheb Kalelkar’s Samanvaya massage by doing Mahatma Gandhi’s Constructive Work in the Society.

Goshala – There are 300 old, sick and homeless cows. They are given shelter, food and medical treatment here. Many of them have recovered and are in good health.
Watershed Development Activities – With the financial help of CAPART, Govt. of India and local contribution Gandhi Hindustani Sahitya Sabha has successfully completed a project of Integrated Watershed Development Programme at Badgaon Village of Bundi District of Rajasthan. This project was started in 2000 and completed in 2011. Through the expenditure of Rs. 83,03,264/- (Grant 65,067,67 and beneficiaries contribution 17,96,497) total area of 2033 hact. was developed accordingly cemented and earthen structure.
For all these activities we need at least 15 Lakh Rupees per year, we do not like to be dependent on Government because Gandhiji himself believed that work in the service of the people should be carried out mainly with the willing support of people themselves.
